Shelbys dog Hank is the inspiration behind Hanks Legacy Foundation. His impact on her life and the loss of him launched her desire to help as many animals as possible. Her career in Animal Welfare started as a foster for neonatal kittens, and then jumped into behavior dogs. Shelby has worked for multiple different animals rescues before, she co-founded Hank’s Legacy Foundation in hopes to make a difference in the lives of animals. With big interests in the Veterinary Technician field, she strives to make sure each animal rescued has the best chance at a long and happy life.

Originally from Minnesota, she now calls Southern California her home.

From tiny day old kittens to giant Great Danes, no animal, big or small, young or old will be left behind to fend for themselves.
